This really is a five-star album but it has one serious problem: recorded live at Montreux, you are going to get the wonderful Gilberto and his guitar on every track AND what is probably the most obnoxious audience noise I have ever heard on any LP or CD. Clap, clap, clap, Joao begins to sing, drives the crowd crazy...takes them nearly five to ten seconds to quiet down. I had to record my LP into the computer and remove most of the audience with Audacity before I could be truly happy with this recording. With this said, the recording is well worth the money.
