This album is on point, and with the way it's all put together it makes me just want to basically reevaluate my life. It's strange how music has that sort of impact on people, but it can be a beautiful one. Although tilians voice is amazing, I do believe I like this album more because I'm intently focused on the instruments and they way they come together rather than lyrics, something a lot of people overlook. But this is one incredible album, and would not mind if they decided to make another masterpiece like this.

First and foremost, I had never heard of Tilian Pearson before he joined one of my favorite bands Dance Gavin Dance. That being said, I had been searching for new music when I had stumbled upon Tides of Man. I'm almost 30. I've spent the last 15 years in the hardcore and posthardcore scene and I've grown up. That is not to say I've lost interest in good music. I was just looking for something new. I found it in Young and Courageous The cinimatic progression of the album is just stunning. From the hopeless melancholy of Desolate. Magnificent. to the beautiful reflection of Mountain House. From the masterful tapestry that is Parallels to the reckless optimism of We Were Only Dreaming . From the confusing yet whimsical journey of Eyes Like Strange Sins to the theme of the victorious that is the title track Young and Courageous. This album is an incredible stand from a group that formed in the posthardcore scene. The music is hard to describe, but it takes you on a journey of emotions that can get you lost in your own head should you forget where you are. I have to repeat myself from earlier- I have never heard Tilian Pearson's Tides of Man. I only know this band. And I hope for great things from them- they are indeed young and courageous. Listen to this album and become lost with me

If only more musicians had the courage to let their music speak for itself. Don't stop.

This album is great every song has me wanting to press repeat. I leave this cd in my car’s cd player and blast it on my way to work, on my lunch break, and on my way home. Really can’t get enough. I’m waiting to see what these guy will produce next and who they’ll go on tour with to support this album. (sigur ros maybe…) who knows, but I recommend this album to anyone the enjoys rock, post-hardcore, groovy vibes, heavy musical hits, and exploring new sounds. It’s for you.

This is the most beautifully written album by these guys. Finally their true musical talent shows. I loved them when Tillian was in the band, but wow. This is just amazing. Out of all the instrumental/post-rock bands I listen to, these guys have nailed it. It’s the perfect mix of highs and lows, calm and energetic. I recommend this album to EVERYONE regardless of personal preferences because it’s that amazing.
