This was my first live Rush concert. "Far Cry" and "Working them Angels" are my two favorites. Test for echo is a favorite album, and grace under pressure was my first album.

This record is very strong. Different, but still very much Rush. As a long-time fan who owns every studio album except this one ( I own the live version), this is great music. I like how it feels like a continuation of Vapor Trails somewhat, while still managing to forge new territory. Great for all fans, if you are new to them- maybe an older album would be more appropriate or just easier to get into, but do not just dismiss this wonderful work.

One of my favorite Rush albums. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Rush's newer material is strong but diffrent from their usual stuff, I really enjoy spindrift (despite some of the album's reviews trashing that specific track) and I think it's a punchy progressive hard rock album at the core with the usual rush spin

When I first heard this album, I wasn’t impressed but I revisited it a few years later after they had released Clockwork Angels and it really spoke to me. Great rifts and lyrics and a solid addition to their catalogue.

I have always known that Rush albums get better with more listens. Snakes and Arrows is no different. You can't just listen a few minutes to a song from Rush and think you have it. You have to put the record on and listen through multiple times. When you do that with Snakes & Arrows you will find many gems in the songs. Far Cry jumps out right away. But Faithless and Brave Face really grow on you as does the title track. But the song that really hits is The Way The Wind Blows. Geddys falseto parts are amazing. The songs lyrics hit you hard. ALs guitar playing has never been better. Get this and listen through. This is the one band that you never really believe you have heard the best from them.

is crying instead of singing. Tried to get into this one better never could. We Hold On is the only song that even begins to have some inspired Rush originality.

its hard to follow up from the first song far cry. its such a perfect rush song that all the other songs on the album just don’t compete. middle of the road for them but still a good buy for fans

Snakes & Arrows is the only Rush album worth owning after 1982's Signals.
