I happened upon the Cordovas at a local spot. I couldn't be happier that I made it to their show. Buy this album. Go to their show. Fall in love.

The perfect compliment of vocals and classic music will leave you craving more. It doesn't matter what you like, there is something on this alnum for you. If you like CCR then give "Standin on The Porch" a listen. In the mood for Grateful dead listen to "Feel good to be Free". How about the eagles, then try "All I Found", or " Old Dog". Give "Lousiana Hurricane" a listen and be carried away by Joe Firstman and Jon Loyd's soulful vocal, backed by Toby Weaver's great guitar solo that will make you want to get up and move. Once you do, you will keep listening and be transport to the wonderful place of great summer music and great memories. Can't wait for more!

Let's see, what can I say about the Cordovas.. They are amazingly talented, and their harmonies and unique style will keep ya coming back to show after show! I have this original album, the Live in Nashville album, as well as numerous other live recordings that are on constant repeat in my iPod and car! Every live show I go to, and I have been to several, is better than the last! Can't wait for the new album to come out! :)

I would not know this band if it wasn't for Zach Myers of Shinedown. He took Joe Firstman, singer/guitarist/pianist & founder of the Cordovas and guitar/violinist, Toby Weaver on tour with him last fall. The first show I saw, I was blown away! What outstanding musicians! I can't get enough of them! They now have a fan for life! I highly recommend that everyone should buy their music and see them play live. Even if their genre of music isn't appealing to some, keep an open mind. I promise experiencing the Cordovas will be a treasure of a lifetime.
