The order of the songs doesn’t do the the album justice. Playing the album on shuffle really creates such a vibe. I think most people were expecting a more nostalgic R&B album. This album blends different styles of music. Wish there was more of the nostalgic R&B but still a great album.
  • The true definition of "mid"

First off, since when is Usher called the king of r&b Lol? I'm not hating or anything, I actually like Usher's older music, but I've never ever heard him called that before. What, now that the one who shall not be named is in prison, now suddenly we're pretending that Usher has always been called the king of r&b? Lol. Stop it! Just had to get that out lol. Anyways this album is kinda a disappointment and another mid album from Ursher, that brings his total to 4! (5 if we count the one he did with Zaytoven.) His last great album was Here I Stand all the way back in 2008 when I was just 10 years old lol, yeah a long time ago! This album is probably better than his last album, Hard II Love, from 2016, which isn't really saying much, but at least that album had "Tell Me" on it which was actually an amazing song. I can't find a Tell Me on this album. Lotta pop, lotta hip hop and trap inspired songs, but it lacks any real true r&b, you know the real r&b slow jams! And the few songs that were r&b, they were boring. A-Town Girl only memorable for the sample lol. People probably won't be calling him king of r&b after this album, guess this is why the other guy who will not be named was always considered the king of this genre and not Usher. As another reviewer posted, "old Usher or no Usher for me." Couldn't agree more.

I wish y’all would stop limiting Usher solely to Confessions . Usher could literally give y’all Confessions and y’all would still be unsatisfied. Anyways OG Usher fan and I love the new album. That’s it that’s all
