Sevendust shows a lot of promise on this album. A fresh sound thats as heavy as it is unique. "Terminator" and "Face" are my favorite songs on the album.

It seems that the song Black skips one time right at the begining. Is this true for anyone else? If so is it supposed to?

This album is awesome and so is the band...but to clear up all the stupid people who are ripping on the person who wrote the review...THEY NEVER SAID SEVENDUST WAS A RACIST BAND!!!!! All they stated was that their songs discussed those types of issues. And who cares anyway? It's just one persons opinion...
  • this is an amazing band (dosn't get the recognition it deserves)

For a debut album, this will kick you in the teeth. This is no holds barred metal. If you want fast power chords and heavy bass work then check this out. My personal fave is "Black". Try a few of the other songs recommended in other reviews and I will wager that you will end up getting the whole album.

This isn't a review of the CD, just a message to the person who said the review said that Sevendust is racist. The review said it adresses several topics, and racism is one of them. Anyway, I've never heard this stuff.

As a debut album, this is as srong and focused as they come. Sevendust is one of the few contemporary perfectionists. They don't want to dissapoint their fans. Fortunately for us, they never have. And whatever idiot thought the review said that they were racist should go back to high school and learn to read.
