My wife and I love Colony House and their last 2 albums were magical. Unfortunately they weren’t able to capture the magic on this newest album. The only song either of us could get through entirely on this album was “Why Even Try”. I’ve got a few friends who are also Colony House fans and they are all pretty disappointed too. We will continue to love and support the band but we can’t wait for the next album since we won’t be listening to this one again.

I’ve never heard of them before- however I’m glad to have found them! Such beauty & soul in the lyrics & the vocals hold such emotion. I can’t wait to dig deeper into the older songs they have put out.

Somehow after an excellent debut and strong sophomore effort, CH prove the third time can still be the charm with one of the best Albums (and I mean album) in recent memory. With a clever framing device, CH crafted a unified effort that takes you on a thematic journey of hope, looking for light, trying, and living. Every song works together as a part of a great whole. The best part? This thing slaps, grooves, and rocks. You’ll find some real bangers, sweet time changes, and insanely good vocals. Drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. The four band members are all in top of their game.

This album engulfed me and gave me the spirit of a bottlenose dolphin. Pure, gut-wrenching, wave-crashing, ocean breeze emotion that made me one with the earth and the heavens 🌘🪐🌊🐬🌌
