Just got it Brian pure talent would made my mom very happy so much good talents were coming up She taught piano performances voice and composition univ Minn Duluth also Portland or I had okay drums so turned den her begging. Me play piano Saw him twice last 3 yrs I west Mich mi area outdoors Muskegon was unreal co vet lost powe but they put band together Aug 2016? AnywAy thx for making cry , you oknow when hear something so frickin good tight it hurts your feelings . Yu do that to many .cuz your genuine person whose passion obviously musical improvisation. Somehow mingled in very dif Jazz sheet music voice and drummer talents serve yu well Many folks dnt know percussions wrtten music is very simpatico to piano Piano is a percussion instrument if good enough Rhythm . George Duke ( rest his heart) was also really tight with his massive perc drummer is great too you do lots half beats to the eye note too where drummer has to know drum music . Left hand is reversed at times as ride stick or right is snare get more beats to the qtr notes 6/8 4/4 6/4 3/8 were my only time sig But I am sort of an impresario at times Pls come back Muskegon or Grand Rapids. Much soon . I did shake your hand. Heritage park behind stage and the flute guy who sponsored the thong ( I know his name but he was really rude . So ca him flute guy from Europe because your precise notes speed sincapation etc are unmatched Tasteful licks horns too And your band is always top in the world i your field percussions esp That was my instrument

Been listening to Brian from the beginning.... such a gift to music and the world. This album is just a beautiful work of art and one that will stay within my soul for many years. I make it a point to see Brian play several times a year at concerts and annual jazz cruises. I pray you keep your art alive for many years to come - you are the very best.

This is some of his mediocre work. Elevator music at it's worst.

So glad that Brian went back to his softer jazzy style for this album. Brings back memories of lazy winter evenings in front of the fire back in Chicago! Thanks Brian!!

It’s not often you get music where every track touches your soul. Well, this is it! I can’t stop listening to it. The music stirs up emotions, as intended. To be enjoyed year round, for sure.
