I'm shocked at all of the hard core fans trashing the work. Maybe they are trapped in the artists past, move on. I have his previous albums, as well as this one. They all bring something to the table. I'm a trance, chillout and techno junkie. Maybe the chillout vibe of this album appeals to me more than to some other the other reviewers.... All in all, there’s not a bad track on the album, IMHO

I’ve been a Tycho fan for years and love putting their albums on and zoning out to the soothing instrumental sounds. With that said, I love the addition of vocals on a few of the tracks on Weather! Saint Sinner has a great voice that perfectly compliments Tycho’s style!

i wasnt sure if I was going to be a fan of the vocals when he shared he was going to make some new songs with lyrics, but I really been liking these songs. They are releaxing and im encouraged by them!. This has been a cool ep to lisen to. Im a fan of Tycho with lyrics and without.

Huge Tycho fan, but the choice to include vocals was questionable. They are front and center and really just make this seem like it's a record by 'saint sinner' featuring Tycho which is a bummer. The other single he just put out "stress" is much better and back to form.
  • Do you like bad, breathy whispers?

Then this is your album. Great, wonderful instrumentals simply ruined by an average, breathy singing songstress. Listen to Phantogram if you want good, breathy music.
  • Bad mix, too vocal heavy

We listen to Tycho to be carried out to sea on a buoyant sonic canoe where the tonal, wordless melodies grant clarity through their endless individualized interpretations. This album, however, sinks fast with its lazy, contrived, and claustrophobic heft, and, if not a total wreck, at best keeps us moored solidly at bay. Where we eventually become landlocked and hollow. Not only are the vocal sounds overly whispered in an unnatural, faux levity, they are laid down entirely too hard. Don’t use softness to yell. Don’t drown out the music, don’t drown us. The few instrumental tracks are passable, such as Into the Woods, but songs like Japan with the aforementioned boring bland Saint Sinner are rendered worse with lyrics akin to middle schooler returning from their first overseas travel experience. In short: Tycho fans, don’t buy.

The vocals aren’t anything to write home about, but man this album is great! I’ve been jamming to it for a few days and loving it. Was surprised the vocals bothered so many people. I’ve been a Tycho fan for years, and this numbers among his best work in my book.

but much prefer the tracks without Saint Sinner's contributions and only purchased those two. I am still a Tycho fan, but Dive and Awake remain my favorite albums.

One of my favorite albums. Still true to the Tycho style. Exceptional!
