i bought this album to educate myself with her latest before she opened for Death Cab. Her voice live is even better than studio, and her songwriting, at least on this record doesnt have one ounce of insincerity. This is amazing, Im an instant huge fan. Buy it.

I'm by no means a die hard fan, but I'm definitely coming around! I like how diverse the overall sound of this album is. I love Jenny's voice, and how she approaches all of the songs. I personally think this is a great record. Enough so that I'm going to see her in about 2 weeks at the HOB in Vegas. I've never seen her live, so I'm super excited for it. Especially Redbull & Hennessey, Little White Dove, and On The Line. I really hope she plays Dogwood!

JL sings like a little girl who has been alive for a thousand years. I loved Acid Tongue as soon as I heard it - and then I got into Rilo - late to the party, but a huge fan of her very special sauce. The Voyager had a couple of excellent, really great tunes, but it wasn't enough for me to think she had a Masterpiece in her. Which is this album. I cannot stop listening to it and imagining how happy Miss Lewis will be when she is as old as Miss Havisham, trapsing about her Citizen Kane style mansion in Topanga in feathered high heel slippers, ice tinkling, knowing that she did it, she made On The Line, and by virtue of her bad-assedry she has become effectively immortal. Thank you, Jenny. This record is a true gift, not just for your fans, but for music fans, and honesty fans, and fans of lives lived to the marrow-sucking bone. Bless you.

Jenny has once again mounted time and space to bring us this artful collection of work. I have been a fan since “the wizard”, “big girls don’t cry; they get even”, and foxfire. Rilo kiley and Jenny and Johnny through college, and now this new music for my 30’s. I feel like I grew up always being inspired by her beauty, taste, and presence and thank her for the new album.
  • Wonderful Album. Highly Recommended!

Great energy, music, voice, and more. Once again, Jenny does not disappoint. Also, the gorgeous album cover nicely reflects the power of this album.

What an incredible find for me. Would probably never have listened to Jenny Lewis if not for an article from Apple News +. Not a plug , just fact. But to say pleasantly surprised is an understatement. This album is a beautiful melodic rock country riff that can move me and then rock me all in a song , one after another. Wow !
