This album is amazing, Samantha Fish is so talented and a GREAT performer. I saw her live at Festival International in Lafayette, LA and was literally blown away with her amazing voice and showmanship! Can't wait to see her perform again.

I guess Amy Winehouse ran off Duane Allman and Jimmy Page.

This is my introduction to Sam. She grabed me on every single track. so i went and bought the rest of her catalog and Love her even more. when i read some of the reviews I noticed that some folks we unhappy because she did a pop album and I can understand that but it doesnt mean the product is poor quality because it is simply wonderful from start to finish when you do not aproach it with prejudice. The wonderful thing is I believe it will open her to a larger audience. She deserves it, i think she has earned it.

Doing covers is a dicey business. Samantha absolutely kills everyone. Her voice is perfect for these tones. The horns are amazing and add great depth. Her new keyboard player is great too. I saw her perform these tunes live, and it was one of the best shows I've ever been too. This is NOT a hard core blues guitar focused effort, but it is a jewel.

This is a solid album from start to finish. With the focus on the sound and song, her talent shines through on this one. Love it!

Main riff in I'll Come Running Over is the same riff in Solomon Burke's classic Everybody Needs Somebody to Love that the Stones and a zillion others copied. It is a great riff that is bouncy and fun to play up and down the fretboard. That tune and Crow Jane are my fave's. Love that Blues Rock stuff!! Samantha can do it well!

This newest album is different, and it lacks some of the gritty guitar that I like, but she pulls it off. She's spreading her wings as an artist and I respect that. I'll always be a fan of hers! After seeing her live last September at the GABBAfest in Macon, I was completely hooked. Her show was GREAT! First and foremost, what a guitar player she is. But her voice was even better than the recorded songs I had heard. I highly recommend seeing one of her concerts, you won't be disappointed.

This one took some getting used to but I can see Sam went with this R&B sound. There's more emphasis on the vocals which I think have matured and it shows on songs like the old Barbara Lewis hit "Hello Stranger". I miss her bluesy guitar riffs which are trademark but I appreciate her taking a chance on something different. The horns are a great addition. We're all watching a young artist continue to grow.
