I’ve been listening to John since High School, there’s a purity, simplicity and poignancy to his songs that I’ve always loved whether sad or funny. Sorry to see him go but glad he shared so many great songs 🇺🇸🙏

John Prine is just a consistently excellent songwriter. His humor, authenticity, his soothing voice and his songwriting abilities are always spot-on, and this album is no exception. I wish I could give it 10 stars!

I've been a JP fan for a long time and seen him numerous times. This is the album that I play the most. It has all his moods including that Prine poignant poetry. I can sing along with all of them so I often play this while doing chores. Nobody but John can make an album like this. Makes me feel like his BFF.
